Dylan's memoir 'Chronicles, Vol. 1' which has been an instant success is among the finalists for biography/autobiography along with best sellers - Ron Chernow's biography of Alexander Hamilton and Stephen Greenblatt's biography of Shakespeare, 'Will in the World,' according to hollywoodreporter.com.
Dylan has been toasted for a brilliant effort at analysing his life and times and influences on his stunning music. The book carries the Dylan story from the time he was a young singer-songwriter in Greenwich Village to being acknowledged as the songster of an entire generation. "
